Scratchboard

This is the scratchboard project. For this project, we had to pick an image to scratch on a scratchboard using scratching tools. I chose blueberries because I liked the values it created after being converted to black and white. I think that my biggest strength of this project was getting the proportions right. I feel like my original image (left) looks pretty similar to my scratchboard (right) because of the proportions. I think that I could've done better on the values of the blueberries and the scratching technique because I felt like my scratching method wasn't consistent. If I did this project again, I would try to make my scratching method more consistent.
