This assignment was to take a paint spill on a piece of paper and transform it into something. My beautiful oops drawing is a tree with the paint spill as a branch with an owl and a swing. For this assignment, I used pencil and colored pencil. I chose to make the paint spill a branch because it was long and skinny which made me think of the branch. I also like to draw trees! This demonstrated elements of art such as, color and texture. I added the owl because I needed to add something to the space in the top left corner of the page. This artwork relates to my life because I like to pick apples and love tree swings. I am proudest of the texture of my tree. I struggled with the owl and the top of the tree. I think that my artwork could have been stronger if I took more time to do this, I kind of rushed because we had limited class time to draw.
