"A Day's work"

This image within an image is of some hard workers at Shaw's who wanted a family-portrait of themselves after a long day of work. I took this image by standing out of sight of the security camera while they posed in front of it.

I chose this image because it fills the space well, is at an interesting angle, and clearly shows the subjects of the portrait. It utilizes some leading lines, selective focus, and formal balance. I had originally planned to be directly under the monitor, but the image on the monitor became too dark. This was the best angle to take it at.

It shows the workers in their environment in an interesting an unique way while clearly making them the subject of the portrait. If I were to revise this image, I would try to clone stamp out the corner of the monitor where you can see a little bit of my hand.
