Final Quality

My quality images include one a steel wool image, a landscape, a couple of portraits, and a photo of nature. They use various processes including digital photography, long exposure, darkroom photography, and altered processes. I chose them as the images with the best quality because they are crisp, have few mistakes, are well composed, and are the images from this semester that I am genuinely proud of. They show understanding of compositional rules and techniques, as well as mastery of the editing skills that make raw photographs stronger. When you look at the images, you get a sense of what I consider to be my strongest work and what kind of themes bring out those strengths. That includes nature, fun photographic excursions (usually with Griffin), and the use of people as subjects.
