Texture

For this assignment I did two walkarounds of photo taking. One outdoors, and one indoors. My goal of the outdoor walk was to really capture the colors of fall and details of nature from a close distance. I found a lot of texture in the tar, roofing, bricks, and wood. Patterns appeared in the yellow leaved berry plant and the clovers on the ground. The cleat print is one that has a lot of texture to it, which is why I chose it from the photos I took. Each of my photos was intended to be very clear so that the viewer can see as much detail in the subject as possible. I didn't do very much editing to the photos other than enhancing the color and sharpness slightly. I wanted the images to retain some sort of natural feel to them and didn't want an overuse of lighting to cover up some of the details of each of the photos. Overall, I thought the best way to capture texture was to get fairly close to the subject and give it as much detail as possible.
