Log into MS365 with your work email address and password like normal. Once you do, you will see the following screen:
2. Click Next, and follow the instructions outlined here in Microsoft’s knowledge base:
QR Code Method: Preferably, use the Microsoft Authenticator app for 2 step authentication, and use the scan QR code method. Set up an authenticator app as your two-factor verification method
3. From now on whenever you are prompted to log in to your Microsoft account for work, you will need to open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone and type the auto-generated authorization code into the field you see on the screen.
NOTE: Don’t add a space between the digits as it appears on the MS Authenticator app, it won’t work.
4. If you want to use a different Authorization tool like Google just select this option at the QR code point.
