Ashlee has volunteered with Pride in the Hills since 2016. The Mission of the Pride in the Hills Fund is to support, inspire, and celebrate LGBTQ+ people by helping to create communities where all LGBTQ+ people thrive. Ashlee volunteers to help support LGBTQIA+ community members and at-risk youth.

Ashlee shares that she has worked with the drug-outreach program and the suicide crisis line. She has headed fundraisers to bring awareness to teachers and guidance counselors on LGBTQIA+ youth’s mental health. Ashlee participated in presentations on this community’s mental health needs, specifically on suicidality. She is working on a project combining resources and assistance with Pride in the Hills and the Trevor Project. She also heads the recruiting committee and leads a support group for LGBTQIA+ community members aged 25-40.
