Philip Light

BS in Environmental Policy and Management

Philip Light served as the state chair, later as the national vice-chair, and currently serves on the board of Native Fish Coalition in Pennsylvania.  Philip says he is passionate about conserving our native fish species and has dedicated a significant portion of his life to directly volunteering in the field and through volunteer administration. He says that his passion for the conservation of native fish has resulted in a “tenacious commitment to furthering the organization's mission and ensuring the success of all of our volunteers.”

Environmental factors are among the most significant threats to native fish and human health. Philip hopes to apply the knowledge and information gained from Purdue Global to advocate for policies prioritizing native fish while improving human health.
