Christopher Johnson

AAS in Fire Science

Chris was a volunteer firefighter with the Roosevelt Fire District for 18 years, holding various positions including President of the department, Captain, and Fire Prevention Coordinator. He currently volunteer with the Dutchess County (NY) Hazardous Materials Response Team in the position of HazMat Specialist. He works full time with the New York State Office of Fire Prevention and Control (New York State's Fire Marshal's office) in the Special Operations Branch.

He says he has always enjoyed being able to help others by being a member of emergency services for over 18 years. This organization allows him to help other first responders in a specialized response.
