Victoria recently volunteered by hosting a shoe drive for Soles 4 Souls. In collaboration with a local high school, she promoted how donating shoes can provide life-changing opportunities to individuals and families - on a global scale. Victoria purchased collection boxes from the organization, and after obtaining approval from the school principal, she coordinated with a school administrator and worked with a small group of students to create flyers, post social media, school announcements etc. to promote a 3-week shoe drive.
Collection boxes were placed on the school campus at various buildings and locations. Shoes were picked up from collection boxes throughout the timeframe of the drive and delivered to the local Soles4Souls warehouse. Victoria helped collect 1,042 pounds of shoes, which on average translated to 833 pairs of shoes.
