Nancy Ellis is on the Board of Directors at Cape Christian. She says she believes in being a contributor, not just a consumer. Nancy shared: “My local church has given so much to me and my family that I wanted to give back. I started volunteering one hour a week when my kids were just born and I realized I felt so fulfilled after serving. So, I sign up for more and more opportunities to give back to the church and to our community. I have helped with community outreach, virtual job fairs, group leader development, women's ministries events, and a postpartum working mothers support group. I volunteered so much that I was honored to be placed on their board!”
