By the end of this week
I have completed my introduction (session 1)
I have completed my research on WSM philosophy and my first WSM health practice
I have completed writing my WSM health practice (two sessions)
Common mistakes made in this part of the assessment task
Not selecting a practice that is used in New Zealand
Not explaining the philosophy
Insufficient work put into advantages and disadvantages impacting the evaluation at the end
Forcing the links to hauora. These need to be coherent (Make sense) and be realistic. Dont conjure up things that arent realistic for the sake of having additional advantages/ disadvantages in here
Once we have completed your research you should have a strong understanding of WSM philosophy.
You will then research a western scientific medicine pratice that is used IN NEW ZEALAND for your chosen health circumstance. When you begin writing for this practice you MUST
-Explain the philosophy of western scientific medicine (WSM) and make links back to your chosen practice
-Explain the practice comprehensively (meaning explaining all the small parts to this such as the dosages taken daily and how the drug works as an example)
-Explain the advantages of using this particular treatment for your condition on hauora
-Explain the disadvantages of using this particular treatment for your condition on hauora
