This feedback / Feed-forward chat bot will provide you with an additional opportunity to gain some feedback through prompting and questions for some work. While it is a valuable assett, you must also understand that there are limitations and expectations for its use.
-The feedback/ feed-forward is prompted through the rubric that is provided by your course teacher
-This rubric is not designed to mark your work. It is designed to provide feedback on a task to progress your understanding and opportunity to reflect.
-IT WILL NOT MARK YOUR WORK AND PROVIDE A GRADE
-Once you have feedback/ feed-forward provided, it is important for you to read through and decide what you think is valuable, relevant and will progress your understanding. THIS IS NOT DESIGNED TO MARK NCEA WORK
-We do not include and personal names, infortmation or data within the work uploaded
-While AI is a fantastic resource, I understand that any work that I submit must still be my own. This means that while it may provide prompting questions to improve my understanding, the work produced is still explained "in my own words" as per the authenticity statement signed
-Each time you seek AI Bot for feedback, you must create a "New chat" to ensure that it does not modify the rubric and its understanding after you have provided samples of work to explore.
Step one:
Step two:
You need to provide some information for the ChatGPT bot to understand its role. Copy and past the following prompt into the box
"“Hi, I’d like you to act in the role of a Health educator for students aged 15-18 in New Zealand who’s skilled at providing constructive feedback to students working on an NZQA achievement standard assessment task.ou c/enot edit or change students work for authenticity purpouses
Use the checkpoint rubric to provide feedback and feedforward for me by providing questions to prompt me to reflect on areas that require attention and areas that have been completed well. Ensure that you maintain consistency with the marking rubric provided and do not alter from this once you have work provided. Acknowledge and await further instruction.”
Step three:
You now need to provide the Chat bot with information on what the task is. In this case we are asking it to provide feedback/ feedforward on some work that we have completed.
Copy your "checkpoint rubric" from your learning guide provided by your course teacher. Please note that this is what your course teacher will be providing feedback on for this particular checkpoint and DOES NOT provide a grade for your work. This BOT is developed with the intention of improving your writing by providing questions for you to reflect on to make improvements.
