I understand the requirements for the ethics assessment task
Choose one ethical issue from the list below
Research and find the perspective of a group of people (Not one person but a group that has a shared belief)
Answer the three questions that you have within the table for your particular ethical issue. Consider what the groups valies, beliefs and view is of the chosen issue, why they have that particular view and lastly what the legal situation is in New Zealand for the chosen issue.
For example (this is an example from 2021) that is not a group but a personal view. You will be required to explore the view of a group.
My personal view on the ethical issue of mining for resources in New Zealand national parks is that we need to prevent this from happening as we are losing what is most valuable to us as New Zealanders. The idea of being 100% pure New Zealand, just ignore the giant oil rig destroying the sea bed or the massive 10 tonne diggers tearing up beautiful green areas to explore for natural resources. We need to be better at looking after our environment as this is at this stage, the only place we have to live. We must place more emphasis on renewable and green forms to continue to preserve the planet for the next generations to come. We cannot continue to ignore the signs of global warming and other natural disaters as a result of continued approach to mine natural resources from the earth.
Include evidence on the mining of natural resources
