Week 4
By the end of the week I have
I have created a SMART goal for my take action project
I have decided on an aspect of Hauora to focus my project inquiry on (Taha Tinana, Taha Wairua, Taha Hinengaro, Taha whānau)
I have completed my Take action planning document (ensure your presentation is linked to this document)
Do you have research to back up your ideas?
Have you identified a wall of Hauora
Discussion based survey/google form/research suggesting your chosen well being issue is a problem within the community or school (this may look like age groups most affected coincide with the age groups of the school, research showing the well being problem is present within the community (South Auckland), or surveys being taken).
Is your goal SMART?
Enhance an aspects of someones Hauora by educating and/or providing information on the well being issue affected.
This is completely up to you in where you take this project. Are you doing this in school or in the community?
Poster
Brochure
Booklet
Interactive activity in school
Tedx Talk
Community engagement (other schools, community centre, nearby facilities....)
Outside provider
Educational lessons
If you are choosing a project that is taking place in the school or community, make sure your research shows which option - community or school - is best suited (this is what your research is for, to help direct your project to get the best outcome possible)
Using a presentation/presenting skills you could do a Tedx talk (english credits may be available)
Community work is vast, there are many different options you can pick but they will need to be specific in what your specific well-being issue is.
A poster is very individual based in putting a message out there
