Our Employee Representatives
For employees in Norway
For employees in Norway
Our employee representatives are here to promote an organized dialogue with our employees to collaborate in shaping Oda as a workplace, ensuring our people are highly engaged and happy 💛
Our employee representatives are the spokespersons for our employees. They have the authority to conduct genuine negotiations with Oda, and they have the right to involve employees in questions that concern the entire workforce or groups of employees (unless there is a collective agreement governing that particular issue).
In short, our employee representatives have an important role in representing and safeguarding the interest of all employees in Oda. They are responsible to ensure that employees' concerns are raised and addressed, and to support and guide employees, empowering us to make informed choices that align with our best interest ❤️
Our employee representative body consists of employee-elected board representatives, formal employee representatives (Norwegian: tillitsvalgt), union representatives, safety representatives (Norwegian: verneombud) and members of Oda-driven initiatives.
The list below explains which representatives we have, and who they represent 👇
Union Representatives - Handel & Kontor: Employees under the collective agreement NHO-HK Handelsoverenskomst
Union Representatives - Fellesforbundet: Delivery employees
Union Representatives - Tekna: Product & Tech employees
Employee Representatives (Tillitsvalgt): All employees. You have a dedicated representative for your area/platform
Safety Representatives (Verneombudet): All employees. You have a dedicated representative for your area/platform
Employee Board Representatives: All employees
Diversity & Inclusion Taskforce: All employees
Women of Oda (WODA): All employees who identifies as women
The approach to negotiations varies depending on the specific context. When it comes to our employees covered by the 'Handeloverenskomsten' collective agreement, the dedicated union representatives from Handel & Kontor are empowered to engage in formal negotiations. Similarly, for those under the 'Transportselskaper' collective agreement, the negotiation rights rest with the union representatives from Fellesforbundet. And when our employees are governed by Tekna, it's the Tekna union representatives who hold negotiation rights.
While other representatives may not possess formal negotiation rights, they play a vital role by offering valuable input and expressing the perspectives of our employees.
A person can’t be both a safety representative and a union representative at the same time. Also, managers can’t have any of these roles. This is to make sure there’s no conflict of interest and that these roles stay independent and neutral.
Represents all employees that are under the collective agreement NHO-HK Handelsoverenskomst.

The goal of AMU is to have a long term perspective on improving the work environment. In addition, it is a forum where we resolve issues that could not be solved by other means, and suggestions that have otherwise been denied can be voted upon. If AMU believes it is necessary to protect life and health, the committee can demand that the employer implement concrete measures to improve the working environment.
