We set aside funds for Learning & Development to spark growth β for you, your team, and the company.
This budget helps you deepen your skills, broaden your knowledge, and bring in new perspectives that benefit your role, your team, and Oda | Mathemβs objectives.
All desk user employees are eligible to apply.
The L&D budget can be used for a wide range of activities, including:
Expert sessions - bring in a specialist for your team
Courses & workshops - build skills in areas like coding, analytics, or leadership
Books - deepen knowledge and then add them to the Oda library for others to enjoy
Certifications - validate your expertise
Events - conferences or seminars for fresh perspectives
Learning platforms and communities - subscriptions or memberships that provide ongoing value
When applying for a budget, aim for value that lasts and spreads:
Focus on impact - choose activities with a clear benefit for you, your team, and Oda | Mathem.
Be cost-smart - if similar options exist, go for the one that gives equal or greater value at a lower cost.
Multiply the value - itβs especially beneficial if the learning can be shared or applied by several people.
We currently do not fund individual Norwegian courses. We have recently been able to organise courses for larger groups, and hope to be able to do more of this going forward.
