Workday is our HR system. In here, we store all the information Oda as a company needs about you as an employee. Information we need is both your personal information such as your date of birth and home address, and information regarding your role.
Why personal information? It's important that your personal information is correct so you get the correct play slip, or in case an emergency happen and we need your home contact details.
Why information regarding my role? In order to give you access to for instance relevant google calendar invites, correct salary payment and canteen deduction, it is important that information such as your work location, team and platform is correctly stored in Workday.
There is not much you as an employee have to do in Workday. However, if some of your information are changing, such as your home address or bank account, it is important that you update this in your profile.
You can read about how Workday's access is set up here 👈
In Oda we believe that good information flow between employee and leader is created through transparency. Your new leader therefore has full access to your personal data in Workday, just like your previous leader had.
As an example, this way you don´t have to feel that you have to start all roadmap dialogues from scratch. Your new leader will have access to the same content as yourself and you can more easily pick up the conversation again by the next development chat.
What type of information are we talking about?
This could be employment contracts, salary changes, sick leave, development dialogues, feedback from colleagues, warnings, performance improvement plans etc.
In Workday, we have all your documents stored. Here you can find your contract, meeting minutes or other documents related to your employment in Oda.
To find your documents you have to enter your profile, click on "Personal" and then click on "Documents".
