Sun Experiment

Materials:

1. Cupcake baking pan

2. 12 items you want to observe (e.g.: rock, coin, ice, chocolate, candy, lego, cheese, marshmallow, crayons)

Instructions:

1. Place items in cupcake pan

2. Write down your predications in a chart like the one above. Will the item melt? Yes or No. Did it melt? Yes or No

3. Place them outside in a sunny spot. If it is a cooler day you may want to leave them out for a few hours.

4. Check on them every 30 min or so and make observations.

5. Check your predictions. Were you right?
