Make a grid with letters. Start with the letters in your child's name. As you play the game call out the letters and say the letter sounds. Cross them off as they are said correctly to make 3 in a row.

Sight words: Practice 3-4 sight words at a time. Read them, print them, find them in books, say silly sentences with them. Once a sight word is mastered add another one. For example if my sight words were: look, go, in, my silly sentences could be: In look go. Look go in. Go Look in. They don't have to make sense. Make it fun!!!

Materials:
Plastic eggs or cups
Tape
markers
small object to hide under egg or cup
Directions:
Add sight words on 10 eggs/ 10 cups with either permanent markers or paper and tape onto cups
Sight words you could use are:
I . like , can , an , is , at , if , red , it , mom , dad , blue
Once you are done place them on a table and hide an object under one cup. Have fun guessing the words to find the object.
