Tin foil boat challenge

Materials you can use:

• Aluminum foil

• Tape

• Wooden craft sticks

• Straws

• Glue

• Small objects to test in your boat (exp: coins, lego people, lego pieces, beads, gems)

• Rag or paper towels for clean up

• Bucket, tub, or sink

• Water

Once you have all the materials you will need to create your boat let the fun begin. When your boat is ready try it out and see if it floats. Remember its okay to change your plan and adapt as you go.

After you have a boat that floats you can add objects.

Count how many objects you can add to your boat without it sinking.
