Mud

Ice cube tray

Kid size gardening tools (An adult will work too)

Instructions

Pack the mud into the ice cube trays. Then let the ice cube trays bake in the sun for a couple of hours. Once the kids remove the bricks from the tray they can begin building.

If the mud was too wet, the bricks won't set well.

Experiment with making the bricks from different types of mud. Discuss what bricks are the strongest.

Build a brick wall and stagger the bricks. Staggering the bricks makes the wall more stable.
