• container of water

• gingerbread cookie (you can use any cookie or a toy instead!)

• popsicle sticks

• straws

• tape

• plasticine

• tin foil

• any material you think will work!

• Use materials of your choosing to build your gingerbread man a boat.

• Place your gingerbread man in your boat (Make sure to test it first! He doesn't want to get soggy!)

• Then experiment with moving your boat across the water. Can you use a straw to blow it? Can you use your breath? Can you make a fan from paper and make your boat move? Get creative. How can you move the boat from one side of the container to the other without touching the boat!

Record what materials you used and what made the experiment successful or tricky!
