RAMP - you'll need a hill to test your snowboarder on - make one outside in the snow or use a piece of wood or thick cardboard.
GOAL: To make a snowboard that goes down the hill the fastest. The snowboarder must be attached to the snowboard and standing on top of it.
Use the materials to make a person on a snowboard.
Once he's made, send your snowboarder down the hill. You can time him and try to beat your time, or have someone in your family make one too and you can have a race. Set them off at the same time and see who reaches the bottom first!
Does your snowboard go faster with more weight? (add pennies/nuts/washers)
Is your snowboard stable? Or does your snowboarder fall over? What changes can you make?
