Cleaning Coins Experiment

1. Select 3 - 4 different liquids to use in this experiment.

2. Find some dirty coins (make sure to include pennies)

3. Label each cup or container so you know which is which.

Put the 4-6 coins in each cup for 3-5 minutes and observe what is happening.

Record your observations on paper. Make a circle for each cup and draw what you see inside.

1. Take the coins out of the liquid.

2. Rinse them in water

3. Wipe with paper towel

4. Observe what coins came out the cleanest!
