Nature Butterfly Life Cycle Building Challenge

Go for a nature walk around your neighbourhood or your yard and collects some items you could use to make the butterfly life cycle.

• Egg (rocks)

• Caterpillar (grass, sticks, pebbles, twigs)

• Cocoon/Chrysalis (pine cone, stick, big rock)

• Butterfly (sticks, grass, wood, flowers, pine cones, rocks)

Create your Butterfly Life Cycle

Draw a large butterfly on any colour of piece of paper and cut it out.

Find items you can use around your home to decorate the butterfly. Items may be, beads, rings, bottle tops, pom poms, pipe cleaners, toothpicks, straws, jewels and stickers.

Decorate your butterfly. Can you make it look symmetrical?

OR you can gather loose parts around your house and make your butterfly without having the paper background.
