February Sports

The month of February was busy with Senior Nights, Sectionals, State Qualifiers, and the IAC Championship!

Track and Field (Tony Joe)- Seniors Ellie Green and Cameron Kraft were honored at halftime of a home boys basketball game. Some teammates also participated in the New York State Qualifiers at Ithaca College. This was a great opportunity to get looked at by colleges and challenge themselves against some high competition. Great season, Crusaders!

Girls Basketball (Cara Hope)- Seniors Kalysta Demark, Fatoumata Coulibaly, Jhamairah Maxwell, and Payton Sutryk were celebrated on their Senior Night against Dryden. The night was made even more special with the victory! The girls are ranked sixth in their division, and their first sectionals game was on February 24th.

Boys Basketball (Nick Wiermiller)- Seniors Mathis Dehecq, Skoon Jenkins, Garrett Kone, Eli Marrero, Tate Nanda, Max O’Connor, and Finn Schweizer were recognized at their home against Newark Valley. Shortly after, they became the IAC Large School Division South Champions but sadly fell to the Trumansburg Raiders for the IAC Championship. Nevertheless, the state-ranked boys are the first seed of their division and received a bye for the first round of sectionals.
