Teachers Appreciation Week took place from May 2nd to May 8th in this year of 2021. We took this time to make sure that our teachers were especially recognized and appreciated for all that they do for us here at Notre Dame. Even though there is a specific time for Teachers Appreciation Week, we should always be grateful for all that the teachers have done for us to help us succeed. Our teachers take time out of their busy schedules to make sure that we understand everything and are doing fine in all aspects of our lives. The next time you walk by one of your teachers, you should thank them for all they have done to help you.

On Friday, May 21st, the Junior Class was able to carry on a huge tradition by going on the annual Junior Picnic. Unfortunately, the junior class last year was unable to participate in this event due to Covid-19. All of the juniors this year were psyched to be able to go. The buses left the school at 8:30 am and took the class to Round Top Park in Athens, PA. The day consisted of lawn games, relaxation, and a good cookout meal. The weather was awesome and it was bright and sunny all day. Some students got a little too hot, so they jumped in the pond to cool off. All of the juniors loved the event! Special thank you to Mrs. Barkley, Mr. Olisky, and Coach Young for making this possible!
