Over spring break, the Notre Dame Lacrosse team picked up a win against Binghamton 9-2. Goalkeeper, Grant Crossley, made 16 saves while Juniors Kellan Murphy and Savi Waters had four and two goals and an assist each. Liam Schweizer scored two goals and Luca Campanelli, Finn Schweizer, Sean Franzese, and Garrard Dougherty all scored goals. The boys return to action on the 23rd @ Windsor with a current record of 8-2.
The Crusaders played their third game at Myrtle Beach, including doubles from Owen Stewart and Steven Gough. The Crusaders' Jahmeire Keyser and Nick Lisi both got a hit and a run scored. For Notre Dame, Luke Richards pitched one inning, striking out one batter, and Cam Johnson got one out before Logan Meisner pitched two and a third innings, striking out five batters. The team will face Lansing on Friday, April 22nd. Good luck boys!
On Wednesday, April 20th, the Track and Field team hosted Watkins Glen at home for senior night. The team will graduate five class of 2022 seniors, Rachael, Amanda, Derek, and Tyler Simpson with Lilly Michal. Congratulations seniors and thank you so much for your hard work and dedication to your team!
On Wednesday, the Notre Dame tennis team defeated Watkins Glen 3-2 at home. Rachel Tsang, Divye Agrawal, Emmalie Barkley, and Kate Welliver all had wins to lead their team to victory. The team will be back in action on the 25th, hosting Southern Cayuga at home. Keep up the good work Crusaders!
On Thursday, the Notre Dame softball team concluded their journey to Myrtle Beach with a loss against a large school team out of New York City. For the Crusaders, Shannon Maloney had a hit and an RBI, while Izzy Griffin had a hit. The softball team is now 3-3 with losses only to much larger schools. The team returns to section four play on the 21st facing Watkins Glen. Good luck ladies!
