First Edition of The Maryleaf

The Maryleaf has a long-standing history with Notre Dame and has been reporting news for over 65 years. Since its founding, the Maryleaf has reported on school, community, and world news. The name was chosen via a poll by the first graduating classes. Recently, copies of all the issues from the first of its publication in pristine condition were given to us by Mrs. Joyce Kane, whose husband, Daniel Kane, was in the first graduating class of Notre Dame.
