Crusader Capitalists is the business, finance, and entrepreneurship club at Notre Dame High School. Its mission is to inspire Crusaders to think like entrepreneurs, invest like capitalists, and lead with purpose. The club emphasizes real-world experience through projects such as Crusader Connect, the school’s student-life app, and Guildustry, a startup company founded by Gavin’s sister. Members work on Guildustry’s marketing and analytics while helping develop and promote Crusader Connect’s business model, event marketing, and engagement strategy.
The club is organized into five main groups: analytics, finance/investing, marketing, operations, and entrepreneurship. The analytics team tracks performance and engagement data, the finance and investing group manages portfolio simulations and budgeting, marketing handles branding and outreach, operations focuses on logistics and coordination, and entrepreneurship develops new ideas and startup projects. Meetings typically include a market update, a short lesson, and team project time focused on Guildustry or Crusader Connect. Rooted in faith, innovation, and discipline, Crusader Capitalists aims to become a lasting legacy at Notre Dame, where students learn business by building it.

Hope Squad is a new club at Notre Dame, started by Mrs. Noviello and Ms. Brewer. As a suicide prevention club, the advisors are hoping to give students who are struggling a positive light in their lives. This peer-to-peer relationship builder offers a way for struggling students to be able to talk to a fellow classmate about whatever they are going through. After an assembly in September, a video was shown describing what Hope Squad is. Then, all students filled out a form and nominated 3 students whom they think would be a good fit for the club. Those nominated were people who are kind, friendly, and helpful. Now, if anyone is going through a rough period, they have the Hope Squad members to help them get through it and show that they do have a purpose.

New year, new Student Council Members! We have our Secretary, Ella Cain, who works diligently to record the notes of every meeting, convey the student opinion in meetings, and help with pep rallies and so much more throughout the year. Next, we have our Treasurer, Matthew Keough, who is in advanced math, so you can trust him with his numbers. For the next up, we have MK Young as the Student Council Vice President to keep things fun and lively for the entire school. Finally, last but certainly not least, for the main council, we have our President, Sabrina O’Connor! Sabrina and the rest of the student council work throughout the year to set up events for students, visiting individuals, other schools, and generally help improve student communication with the school administration.
For our class representatives, starting with the seventh graders, we have Dakota Rinker and Ella Daley, for the eighth graders, there is Jace Ripley. Next, for the freshman, we have Isabella Smith, for the sophomores, there is Trinity Riddick, for the junior representative, there is Jenai Spencer, and finally, the senior representatives are Finn Schweizer and Max O’Connor.
Welcoming a fairly large group of both international students and students coming from other states, our student body has more diverse views and ideas with fresh perspectives!
