Add a File from Google Drive

When adding portfolio content, you have the ability to upload a file from your computer, external device, or Google Drive. Users can add multiple files to each file upload area. Each upload area has a storage limit of 500MB. 

Step 1: While viewing the portfolio, click Select File.

Step 2:  The Attachment window will appear, click the GOOGLE DRIVE tab.

Step 3:  Click CHOOSE FROM GOOGLE DRIVE.

Note: Step 4-6 will require you to connect your Nazareth College Google Drive account to the platform system. These steps may vary slightly depending on your browser.

Step 4:  Enter you Nazareth College email address in the email or phone field and then click Next.

Step 5:  Enter your password in the Enter your password field and then click Next.

Step 6:   To authenticate your Drive account, click Allow.

Step 7:   Click Choose from Google Drive (again).

Step 8: Locate the file on your Drive within the Select a file window and click Select.

Note: To be uploaded from Google Drive, all files must be an allowed file type: .doc, .docx, .obt, .txt, .rtf or .pdf.

Step 9: If you wish to add additional files to the upload area, click Choose from Google Drive again and repeat Step 8

Step 10: When all files display in the list, click Insert to add the files to the portfolio.

Note: There is no limit on the number of files that can be added to each upload area, but the total size of all files cannot exceed 500MB.

Once uploaded, file attachments will display under the Select File button.
