Moodle Dashboard Orientation

You will be taken to the user Dashboard when you log in using your MyNaz username and password. This screen serves as your personal home page and provides access to courses, as well as a number of links and resources. 

(A)     Moodle Help Resources: The help resources block provides access to the student support site. This website includes written tutorials and videos on many commonly used Moodle processes.

(B)     Account Settings: Log out of Moodle and update user profiles.

(C)     Course overview: Displays enrolled course links in different formats with various time filters like "In Progress" or "Future." 

(D)     My Courses block: Displays a full list of links for all enrolled courses. For faculty, blue links are visible to students and gray course links are only visible by the instructor. 

(E)     Helpful links: Displays a carousel of helpful links using the navigation arrows. These links include CourseEval (Naz’s course evaluation system), Infobase Learning Cloud Access (video tutorials on various technology applications), and the Nazareth Student Support site. 

Note: Infobase Learning Cloud is a fantastic database of self-help resources. Sign in using your MyNaz username and password.

(F)     Block Drawer: Click the blue tab on the right to open the block drawer.

(2a)     Latest Announcements block: Recent posts made in the Announcements forum are displayed in the Latest announcements block, along with a link to older archived news.

(2b)     Timeline block: Displays due dates for upcoming Moodle course activities.

(2c)      Recently accessed items block: Display the activities and resources which an enrolled user has most recently accessed

(2d)  Self-Enrollable Courses blockThis block offers links to lists of self-enrollable courses by category. These courses are open to all Nazareth University Moodle users; if you would like your course listed here, please contact the administrator.
