Qualtrics
Qualtrics is a user-friendly, comprehensive, electronic survey tool available for use by all Nazareth faculty, staff, and students. Qualtrics eliminates the need for the many survey design solutions that individuals have had to rely on in the past, providing a variety of question types, survey management tools, automated email distribution, customized data visualizations, and several different report formats. Below are resources and guides to some of the functions you may encounter while using Qualtrics. You can use the link navigation to the left to quickly jump to a specific section. Use the bar at the top of this page to go to a different page topic.

To access your Nazareth Qualtrics account, you must log in through Naz's Qualtrics Portal specifically, which you can find here. Log in using your MyNaz credentials, but note not to include the "@mail.naz.edu."
As of April 18th, 2025, all first-time log-ins are automatically Survey Creator accounts. Accounts created prior to 4/18/25 but that were not upgraded will need to request an upgrade to Survey Creator using this form.
Upon logging in to the Qualtrics site, you will be directed to your Homepage. This page will show you your active surveys, workflow summary, and much more. You can learn more about the sections and features of your Homepage below (see Figure 1).

Creating a survey in Qualtrics can be done right from your Homepage. After successfully logging in, you can click on the Create a New Project button at the bottom left of your screen. For first-time users, a step-by-step tutorial is built in to the Qualtrics website, so you can follow some helpful tips without leaving the tab!

Sharing Surveys
Collaborating on your Qualtrics project(s) is as simple as sharing it, which you can do through the survey tools in the editor! Select Collaborate, search for whomever you wish to collab with, and add them to your project.
Qualtrics offers a step-by-step YouTube tutorial for sharing and collaborating on projects as well, which we've included here as a resource for you!
