Echo360 Navigation
Echo360 is a learning transformation platform and system that allows faculty at Nazareth University to record and livestream video lectures for students to view online at any time. Using Echo360, you can access previous and live class sessions, should your instructor choose to use the service. If your instructor has enabled live-streaming of class sessions through Echo360, these instructions outline the basic access process for students.
Echo360's EchoVideo: Getting Students Started page is a great resource for learning about how Echo360 works for students. Below is some of the more important information from that site.
Note: Google Chrome is the recommended web browser for accessing Echo360, as its functionality can be impacted by the use of other web browsers.
To access Echo360, students should log into their Moodle and select their course. On the Moodle course page, there will be an icon with a left-facing play button. There may be text next to it, such as "Echo360" or "Echo360 Videos," but the text may vary depending on what the instructor names it.

To view the audio transcripts of a video that has been recorded, you first need to select the video you wish to view. From the welcome page, click into one of the classes that has video content available for you to watch. Then select the video you want to watch. This will open the video to view.
This recorded lecture has two video screens. One is a view of the classroom and the second is a view of the computer screen the instructor is using. The order in which they appear may change depending on your instructor and the classroom.
In the upper right corner, you will see an icon with a T in a speech bubble. This is the button to display the audio transcription (see Figure 4).
The audio transcript will appear to the right of the video in a panel. When the instructor is speaking, a pink dot will appear to indicate the line being spoken (see Figure 4a).

Viewing current and/or upcoming livestreams is similar to the process stated in the previous section.
Firstly, navigate to your course Moodle page and click the provided Echo360 Link from your instructor. Note: The title may vary, but the Echo360 icon will remain the same.
Locate the session within the Echo360 Class Library and select it. Note that livestreamed sessions will display a gray LIVE icon prior to their start time; This will turn green once the session begins (see Figure 5).
Prior to the start time of the livestream, the screen will display a timer indicating the stream has yet to start (see Figure 6). You may wait for the session to begin, or return to closer to the start time.
Once the stream has started and is available, you may click the Show Live Stream button (see Figure 6a).
