How to Submit a Video Assignment using a Share Link

Moodle offers the capacity to copy and paste links from Google Drive or YouTube when submitting a video assignment. This help guide explains the basic process for submitting a video using a share link.

Step 1: Select your Assignment.

Note: Assignment name will depend on your enrolled course.

Step 2: Scroll down below the details of the assignment and select Add Submission.

Step 3: Paste your YouTube or Google Drive link into the textbox.

Step 4: Click Save Changes.

Step 5: Once you click Save Changes, you will be brought to the submission status of your assignment.

Note: The video will only be embedded if you paste a link from YouTube.

Step 6: You will have one more chance to edit your assignment before submitting for grading by clicking Edit Submission.

Step 7: After all final edits have been made, you can click Submit Assignment.

Step 8: Click Continue to submit your assignment to Moodle.

Step 9: Once the submission status changes to Submitted for Grading, you are finished and will no longer be able to edit your assignment.
