How To Upload a File from Your Mobile Device

When uploading a photo or video from your mobile device (iPhone or iPad) to your Google Drive, you will need to download the Google Drive app from the App Store before following the directions below. 

Note: These steps outline the process for an Apple iPhone and iPad. Android users should expect a slightly different process. 

Tip: If you are looking to upload a file from your computer or flash-drive, go to the "Upload a File" page. 

Step 1: When uploading a video or picture from your device to your Google Drive, you will first need to download the Google Drive app from the app store.

Step 2: Once you have downloaded the app, log in to your Drive using your MyNaz credentials.

Step 3: After you have logged in to your account, go into your photos and select the media you wish to upload to your Google Drive. 

Step 4: On your screen, click the share button (a box with an up arrow on it).  

Note: The share button may look different depending on the type of device you are using!

Step 5: There will be options of places to share the media (ex., Mail, Messages, Airdrop). You will want to find the icon and click Google Drive

Step 6: Once you have clicked on the Google Drive icon, the media will be prepared and you will be given an option to add to your drive.

Step 7: You should pick the folder you wish to add your media to and press 'Upload'

Step 8: Once your media has finished uploading, you will see it in your Google Drive.
