Managing Forum Subscription Settings

Subscribing to a forum allows you to receive notifications when a new post is created in the discussion activity. This guide explains how to adjust the subscription settings for this course activity.

Option 1: Adjusting the Subscription Setting for a Forum

Step 1: Login to Moodle using your MyNaz username and password.

Step 2: Click on the course title from your Dashboard to open and view your course.

Step 3: Click on the title of the discussion forum to open and view the conversation.

Step 4: Once you are in the forum, click the Gear icon and select Subscribe to this forum (or Unsubscribe to this forum).

Option 2: Adjusting the Subscription for a Single Thread

Moodle also allows you to subscribe to individual discussion threads within a forum.

Step 1: Once inside the activity, under the Subscribe column, click the Switch next to the appropriate thread. This will send an email notification whenever new posts are created in that thread.
