A Day In My Job At Chophouse
A Day In My Job At Scott Acres
A day in my job consists of me getting to the restaurant and asking my manager what he needs me to do first, I will complete that task and then set up the dining room and make sure everything is ready for customers to come in and eat. I will run people their food and make sure they have everything they need. In between running food, I will do any tasks that need to be done which could consist of getting water, bussing tables, helping servers, and many more tasks. To end the shift I have to clean the bathrooms, set the dining room for lunch, and then ask the kitchen, servers, and bartenders if they need anything, if they need something I will do what they need and then I will be able to leave after that.
A Day at Scott Acres can vary from many differnt things like picking pumpkins, planting christmas trees, mowing, cutting down trees, but most importantly selling the christmas trees. I will start the day by unlocking everything and then I will wait for customers to arrive. Once the customers are there I will help them find a tree they like and load it into their car. After that I will drill a new tree and place it on the stands. I will do this until we close.
This class helps me because it teaches me many things about the workplace that I would not have known if I didn't take this class. This class has taught me how to be perfect in a interview and how to make a perfect resume and cover letter to apply for a job.
This class is different from other classes for many different reasons the main one being the fact that I get to go to work every single day, it also has given me insight into what career field I want to go into after high school. This has helped me a lot because I am able to gain work experience and meet new people expanding my social network.
