How is this class different from other classes?

This class helps me by giving me a strong advantage when it come to work experience, it puts me ahead of other students who may or may not have a job. This class teaches you how to properly behave in a workplace, how to be efficient, and responsible. I have practiced preparing for future experiences in this class like interviews. by taking this class you learn more about who and what you want to be and how you want to do it.

How does this class help me?

Workplace learning helped me realize it is not so hard to take the first step in building a career. Over the semester I had assignments and to dos that helped me gain independence and responsibility. These tasks required me to step out of my comfort zone and grow.

day at my job!

I usually start by greeting everyone in the store. following that I clean up the fitting rooms. Then I would grab any new boxes that were consigned and hang those up so we can price them to put out on the racks. I will ring customers up when ready to check out along with making the store look neat. My favorite part of my shift is greeting all the familiar faces we have that come in.
