This class is helpful to me in multiple ways. Being home early is a blessing as I have responsibilities as well as animals to take care of before I head into work. I always have time to complete my homework around my work schedule.
I feel as if this class focuses more on real life events and actual work rather than something that I'll never be using again. This will help me prepare for jobs in the future as well as how to act around my superiors.
I am skilled in multiple aspects of my job, therefore everyday is different for me. Some days I'm outside taking orders for customers, other days I'm inside preparing the orders with the rest of my employees.
Working in a bigger town in a popular company is definitely challenging for us. You get to meet all kinds of great people who are from different aspects of life, make new friends, and get experience. There are the negative sides of the job as well, but that comes with every job as we're unable to control the people who come to our establishment. Dealing with people who are disrespectful usually falls under the duty of management to handle. So far we haven't had any issues and continue serving, but it has opened my eyes to what all goes into being a manager in the food service industry.
