After I clock in, I put on my vest and prepare myself for the shift. After that, I head to the front desk to look at the to-do list, which has most of the stuff I will do for the day. Throughout the day, I greet and help customers to make sure they get what they are looking for in a satisfactory manner.

This class has allowed me to learn skills such as professionalism and attitude that I can apply and carry on in the future. It has allowed me to get a head start on my work life and experience valuable lessons at a young age. The class has also pressured me to reach out about internships that I would have not done if I was not in the class.
This internship is helping me to get work experience and hours that I will need for future employment. It also gives me three credit hours and allows me to leave school early to go to work and make money.
This course is different from other classes because although there is a classroom portion, it is much more hands-on. You also learn practical skills such as building a resume and cover letter. You also end up building a network of people you normally would not have.
