A day in my life working at a flower shop can differ depending on the time of year, season, or if there is a special event that we are doing. On a normal day I typically start by prepping flowers that come in at the beginning of each week. I strip the flowers and give them a fresh cut for a longer life of the flower. Then I toss any flowers that need to be thrown out from the cooler. Typically each week we get a variety of arrangements. I usually make any of our arrangements ranging from $25 to $45. Some of these arrangements are in store pickup and some of them are deliveries. At the end of the day I make sure that the shop is all tidy and ready for the next day by sweeping and wiping down the tables, after all of this I will lock up the shop and head home.
