Kitchen/Maintenance
This class helps me prepare for the future by teaching important skills that will help me get a good job. It focuses on things like creating a strong resume, practicing job interviews, and learning how to communicate professionally. The class also helps me explore different career options and understand what employers expect from employees, like being responsible, working well with others, and managing time effectively. By learning these skills now, I feel more confident in finding a job after high school.
This course is a lot different than other courses because it actually prepares you for the future and you can prove it. When in this class we learn real life skills and practice them. We build a resume that we can use after school and do mock interviews to practice for when we want to interview for our real job.
In my internship I work in the kitchen. I'm usually supervising the kitchen to assure fast service and cleanliness throughout the shift. We have to clean the ovens and restock at the end of every shift (close). I also perform the maintenance of the park doing springs and other electrical work ect. I work 4-9 on weekdays and 10-6 on Saturday and Sunday.
