CCE (FTGP)

To intentionally address the desired learning outcomes for CCE, curriculum time is allocated for explicit teaching, and reinforcement and application of learning. 


Explicit teaching involves systematic planning and use of curriculum time for students to learn and internalise values and specific social and emotional skills as well as understand how to apply them. Teachers use appropriate pedagogical principles, approaches and strategies to engage students in discussion, sense-making and reflection. Explicit teaching mainly takes place during CCE Lessons, which comprise CCE (FTGP), CCE (MTL) and PAL (for Primary One and Two). 

These CCE (FTGP) resources contain lesson plans for teachers’ use. Embedded within each lesson plan are PowerPoint slides and student journal pages. Selected lessons also contain additional resources such as video links and templates.
