Access into School
Main gate (Gate A) opening hours:
6:30 am to 6:00 pm (Mon-Fri)
Side gates (Gate D) opening hours:
6:30 am to 7:30 am (Mon-Fri)
1:30 pm to 2:30 pm (Mon-Fri)
Closed at all times during operating school holiday
General Office opening hours:
7:00 am to 5:30 pm (Mon–Fri)
7.30 am to 5.00 pm ( Mon - Fri, during operating school holiday )
Visitor Management
Visitors are only allowed to enter/exit the school via the main gate;
Visitors are required to sign in at the guard post at the foyer to obtain a visitor pass before proceeding to other areas in the school. They are to display their passes at all times when they are in the school compound;
All visitors are required to proceed to the General Office if they are meeting staff members;
Only authorized and/or permitted vehicles are allowed to park in the carpark lots in the school premise;
All vehicles coming into school shall follow the instructions given by the Security Officers or school authorized personnel;
No visitors, including parents are allowed to venture into classrooms or to rooms reserved for teaching and learning unaccompanied;
Staff should maintain vigilance at all times, when noticing strangers loitering in the school compound, do take initiative to approach them and politely ask for the purpose of their visit. Report any suspicious activities or intruders immediately to the General Office;
All students leaving school before official dismissal time must complete a "Early School Dismissal Form", available at the General Office and must be accompanied by an adult. This form must be handled to the security office at the guard post before leaving school. Failure which, the security officers have been authorized the student from leaving school;
Parents/guardians going to the bookshop are only allowed to do so between 1.45pm and 2.45pm;
Parents/guardians waiting to fetch their children/wards at the Side Gate D or Pedestrian Gate B are not allowed to enter into the school (by foot) , unless authorized by the school personnel during wet weather.
Emergency Preparedness
Common types of emergency situation:
Fire
Explosion
Mass Food Poisoning
Bomb Threats
Earth Tremors
Terror Attacks
Staff should maintain vigilant and familiarize with steps in dealing with such threats
School Emergency Structure (SES)
SES is organised as per guidelines provided by Safety, Security & Emergency Branch (SSEB)
Emergency Drills and Exercises
The following drills are conducted annually:
Temperature Taking - one each semester
Fire Drill/Evacuation to AA - once a year
Lockdown and evacuation drill to AA/EHA - once a year, with alternate year to EHA.
Table Top Exercise - once a year if the EP drill (fire or lockdown) and evacuation drill are not carried out.
