Risk Assessment Management
RISK ASSESSMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (RAMS)
The Duty of Care and Workplace Safety Act require schools to adopt reasonable safety measures to protect students and staff from foreseeable hazards.
RAMS provides a structured approach to systematically identify potential hazards and to develop adequate safety measures.
Activities requiring RAMS
RAMS must be submitted for activities that are:
Not held within school premises, i.e. all external event where students are involved; or

Should staff be unsure if RAMS is required for their activity, kindly consult Chief Safety Officer (ChSO). RAMS guidelines an inventory of sample RAMS are provided in the Safety & Emergency shared drive for reference
RAMS SUBMISSION
All RAMS must be conducted by the staff in-charge and obtain HOD's approval before submitting to ChSO
