Partnership for Culture of Learning
Apple - Coaches staff for creative use of iPad and design of lessons in STeP.
CBS schools - Sharing of P6 EYE exam papers, P5 SJI Visit, MT collaboration (CBS storytelling competitions, exchange of ICT resources for iPad lessons), Lasallian Formation Day and other common Lasallian events.
CPCLL - Supports School Teachers Reading Ambassadors to promote CL reading.
De Lasalle Brothers and SSSPARK Parent Catechists - Supports the school’s Catholic and Lasallian Programmes (e.g. masses, catechism lessons etc.).
E7 Cluster - MM development, sharing of examination papers (ML & TL) and NLC SM, CCE and Cluster Lead Teachers.
SSSPARK - Supports various school projects by providing manpower to run the activities (e.g. MT storytelling during Lower Primary recesses, various recess activities of school programmes, ). They also make an impactful contribution as they take charge of creating the festive ambience when they help to decorate the school compound in themes based on the event.
Target15.sg Initiative - SSS complements Singapore's target of planting more trees in the “Hold-a-Hand” Project and embarks on the P2 & Staff Germination Project.
TKPS and OEPS - SSS partners with staff of these schools in the implementation of the TRANSIT programme. Beside regular zoom sessions, SSS also opens our classroom for observations.
VIA Partnerships:
NEA in P3 “Project Buddy Clean” - Inculcates positive social values and norms on cleanliness through peer influence and feedback amongst students. Also helps to foster shared ownership and responsibility of common spaces in school through cohort-wide cleaning.
“Willing Hearts” with Science & Green Club and P4 Vertical Farming - P4 harvests from the vertical farming done by the Science & Green Club during scheduled curriculum periods and each class sends one student representative and his parent to deliver the harvest to “Willing Hearts”.
Habitat for Humanity Singapore (UnLitter Red Dot) with P5 - Neighbourhood cleaning project in Chai Chee which allows students to experience what it means to care for one’s living space beyond the four corners of their homes.
Public Hygiene Council in P6 “Keep Singapore Clean Movement”- Cleans Singapore Learning Trail (East Coast Beach).
Partnership for Culture of Care
Ad hoc Parent Volunteers - Provides additional manpower in chaperon and safety duty for various school programmes and events such as Junior Olympics Games, Swimsafer, LJs etc.
Centre For Fathering (CFF) & SSOBA/Alumni - Promotes fathering programmes (e.g. Father-Son Camp), ECG talks for P6 as Post PSLE activities.
Hao Ren Hao Shi - Once a month VIA by school staff, student leaders and cub scouts to provide service and show empathy for FAS families through packing and distribution of essentials donated by organisations.
Morning Star Community Services - Encourages positive parenting by holding “Positive Parenting Programme (Triple P)” webinars for parents, supports lower primary students lacking family support through NOVA.
OLPS Church - In addition to supporting our catholic programmes and activities, the Church also offers adhoc use of their premises to resolve the space and safety concerns that might arise during special events.
School Council & CBS Board - Govern the school ethos and character.
SMSA with weekly soccer enrichment sessions - Provides opportunities for boys to have early exposure to football.
