No School This Monday

There will be no school on Monday, January 19. All school buildings and offices will be closed for the day.

This break is in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We hope our students and families enjoy this extra time together. We look forward to seeing everyone back in class on Tuesday morning.

Winter Growth Assessments

Students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade will soon take the Winter Growth Assessments. These tests help teachers see how much students have learned in Reading and Math since the start of the year.

Testing Dates:

• Reading: Thursday, January 29

• Math: Tuesday, February 3

These assessments are not like final exams. There is no "pass" or "fail" grade. Instead, the results show where your child is doing well and where they might need more help. Teachers use this information to plan the best lessons for every student.

Please make sure your child gets plenty of sleep the night before testing. A healthy breakfast on the morning of the test is also very helpful. We want all our students to feel ready and confident to show what they know!
