15th Annual Red Hill Color Run is Tomorrow!

The Color Run is only two days away! Join us this Saturday, April 25. This event helps our school and keeps our community healthy.

Event Schedule

Check-in: 8:00 AM – 8:45 AM at the cafeteria courtyard.
Race Start: Both the 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run start at 9:00 AM.

Registration Details

Cost: $30 for one person or $60 for a family.
How to Sign Up: Register online at the link below or through the Red Hill PTO.
Impact: All money raised supports our school and students.

How to Help Your Child / Cómo ayudar a su hijo

We want every student to feel ready for their tests. Please make sure your child sleeps 8 to 10 hours each night so their brain can focus. Give them a healthy breakfast with protein, like eggs or oatmeal. Remind your child to do their personal best because we are very proud of them. Finally, please arrive at school on time so your student feels calm and ready.

Staff Spotlight: Ms. Leathers /

Ms. Leathers is a preschool teacher at Red Hill and is now in her second year. She chose to teach because she wants to help children discover how much they can achieve. She loves the "family" feeling of our community and the beautiful views from her classroom. Ms. Leathers enjoys making people laugh and smile. Before college, she lived in the Dominican Republic. Her favorite book is The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. On the weekends, she loves camping and fishing with her family and dogs.

La Srta. Leathers es maestra de preescolar en Red Hill y está en su segundo año. Ella eligió enseñar porque quiere ayudar a los niños a descubrir todo lo que pueden lograr. Le encanta el sentimiento de "familia" de nuestra comunidad y las hermosas vistas desde su salón. A la Srta. Leathers le gusta hacer reír y sonreír a la gente. Grandparents….You’re Invited to our Generations Luncheon

Red Hill Cafeteria

Red Hill is thrilled to extend a special invitation for our Generations Luncheon as we celebrate Older Americans month. At Red Hill, we deeply value the wisdom, experience, and love that grandparents and older relatives bring into our students' lives. During this event, biological or “may as well be” grandparents, great aunts/uncles are invited to have lunch with their students. Attendees will be treated to one free lunch (with additional items available for purchase). Their presence would mean the world to us, as we honor the special bond between generations and celebrate the invaluable contributions of older Americans.

Parents, please RSVP by May 1st on behalf of your family members to ensure we can accommodate everyone comfortably. Send replies to cwillson@k12albemarle.org or call the office (434) 293-5332. Include the name(s) of elders attending and which lunch(es) they will attend.
